Components

Components are the internal, user replaceable parts of ship modules. Each individual component has 8 values:

Component type (Brand)
Socket type (Shape)
Sturdiness
Minimum damage rating
Damage before efficiency drop
Efficiency drop when damaged
Current Damage
Base Cost (Base cost is modified by damage)

Components can be bought and sold from the component screen on stations.
