Components

Components are the internal, user replaceable parts of ship modules. Each individual component has 8 values:

  • Component type (Brand)
  • Socket type (Shape)
  • Sturdiness
  • Minimum damage rating
  • Damage before efficiency drop
  • Efficiency drop when damaged
  • Current Damage
  • Base Cost (Base cost is modified by damage)

Components can be bought and sold from the component screen on stations.
